Medieval belt Florence. Italy 15 c.

This amulet depicts the Norse god Tyr, a supreme deity in Scandinavian mythology and the son of Odin. Known as the god of war, Tyr courageously battles against the chthonic forces, embodying the valor and strength of the warrior spirit. The amulet portrays him as one-handed, a poignant representation stemming from the sacrifice of his right hand to the wolf Fenrir. This sacrifice occurred when the gods, known as the Aesir, bound Fenrir with unbreakable chains. Despite the physical loss, Tyr stands unwavering as the guardian of martial principles.

Medieval badge "Tight purse". Depicts a tightly packed, fashionable in the middle of the XV century, belt purse, shape resembling an inverted fan. They were worn to attract wealth, good luck and abundance. It also became popular at this time to wear "good luck" coins. Netherlands, 1375-1425. 13th century A-shaped brooch with glass gems. The inscription means the abbreviated prayer of AGLA: Atha Gebri Leilan Adonai ("Thou art mighty forever, O Lord"). Size is 33 x 35 mm.

Medieval badge "Rose and Sun". It depicts a heraldic rose, from which the sun's rays emanate from below. It is a heraldic badge of York, combining images of the key heraldic symbols of the York dynasty: the Rose and the Shining Sun. They could often be combined in accessories reflecting the loyalty of the York dynasty, such as a chain of knights made of roses and shining suns (see article "collar-york"). England, 15th century.
