Here is the most popular and most beloved infantry helmet of XIII-XVIth centuries – the good old hat-shaped chapel. Riveted from metal to the image and likeness of an ordinary wide-brimmed hat, chapel-de-fer faithfully served the European infantrymen protecting them both from cavalrymen’s attacks from above and from infantry brothers' halberds mighty strikes.

Stock items may be returned within 14 days if unused. Return shipping is covered by the customer; refunds apply to item price only. By default, all orders are shipped via Ukrainian National Post or Nova Poshta, at the sole discretion of Steel Mastery. The carrier delivers the parcel to your local postal service or pickup point. Tracking details are provided after dispatch. Express courier services (such as DHL, etc.) are available only upon request via email and are subject to additional cost and confirmation.
Custom-made items require production time before shipment. Estimated production time:
- Leather accessories – 2–4 weeks;
- Clothes – 2–8 weeks;
- Gambeson and padded armor – 8–12 weeks;
- Brigandines – 1–3 months;
- Metal armor – 2–7 months.
