The Teutonic Helmet Torse with Mantle is a historical piece of armor decoration designed to complement medieval helmets. This set consists of a padded, twisted black-and-white fabric roll (torse/burlet) and a multi-layered fabric cape (mantle/helmdecke).
The design replicates the heraldry of the Grand Master of the Teutonic Order. The back of the mantle features a black cross with an overlaid golden cross, finished with an embroidered heraldic eagle on a golden shield at the center.
Historically, these fabric pieces were used both for heraldic identification on the field or during tournaments, and for protecting the metal helmet from getting too hot under the sun.

Stock items may be returned within 14 days if unused. Return shipping is covered by the customer; refunds apply to item price only. Custom-made items are non-refundable unless there is a manufacturing defect or our mistake, in such cases we will remake or refund at our expense. Lost parcels are covered — we will investigate and resend if needed.
By default, all orders are shipped via Ukrainian National Post or Nova Poshta, at the sole discretion of Steel Mastery. The carrier delivers the parcel to your local postal service or pickup point. Tracking details are provided after dispatch. Express courier services (such as DHL, etc.) are available only upon request via email and are subject to additional cost and confirmation.
Custom-made items require production time before shipment. Estimated production time:
- Leather accessories – 2–4 weeks;
- Clothes – 2–8 weeks;
- Gambeson and padded armor – 8–12 weeks;
- Brigandines – 1–3 months;
- Metal armor – 2–7 months.
