Sugarloaf helmet is a late variation of medieval head protection Topfhelm (Greathelm). Main distinction is a spherical conical dome. Such battle helmet was in active use in Europe in the first part of XIV century. Sugarloaf got its name from the American reenactors in the end of the XX century.

Lower part of helmet was consisted of two parts and was being attached to the dome. There are only few medieval painting of this helmet, where movable visor is shown.

Helmet sugarloaf is fastened with under-chin leather belt and buckle.

Warranty

Stock items may be returned within 14 days if unused. Return shipping is covered by the customer; refunds apply to item price only. Custom-made items are non-refundable unless there is a manufacturing defect or our mistake, in such cases we will remake or refund at our expense. Lost parcels are covered — we will investigate and resend if needed.

Delivery

By default, all orders are shipped via Ukrainian National Post or Nova Poshta, at the sole discretion of Steel Mastery. The carrier delivers the parcel to your local postal service or pickup point. Tracking details are provided after dispatch. Express courier services (such as DHL, etc.) are available only upon request via email and are subject to additional cost and confirmation.

Terms

Custom-made items require production time before shipment. Estimated production time:

  • Leather accessories – 2–4 weeks;
  • Clothes – 2–8 weeks;
  • Gambeson and padded armor – 8–12 weeks;
  • Brigandines – 1–3 months;
  • Metal armor – 2–7 months.
