Description

Knight’s gloves are made after certain historical replicas – numerous effigies, tombstones and other historical sources, dated by the XIV-XV centuries. Because of its shape, this medieval armor is also known as “Hourglass” gauntlets.

Silver altar of St.Jacopo, Pistoia, Italy, XIV century

It is so-called two-part gauntlets, which consist of the articulations for the fingers, and a broad prolonged plate. This plate covers backside of the hand and the wrist. For the best protection, we offer you to complete gauntlets with brigand, scale of articulated fingers.
