Witcher Grandmaster Ursine armor is the final version of the Bear School Gear – best armor in The Witcher 3 and ideal one for a heavy fighter with strong attacks.
There are two ways to get this set for you:
- Long and hard one – go through a quest from Grandmaster Smith in southern Beauclair.
- Fast and pleasant one – order it from Steel Mastery ;)
You give us your specific measures and wishes - we make you a completely custom gambeson that will bring you joy and comfort for a long time!
Let's start from Grandmaster Ursine armor basis – original witcher gambeson. This is a long gambeson with overlapping on the chest (which provides additional protection for torso and extraordinary movability) fastened by four leather belts with buckles. Stand-up collar protects the neck.
This witcher padding armor is a choice of wise old fighters who value comfort and good protection.
The desing of Geralt gambeson include diamond-shaped (rhombi) stitching: larger rhombus on the body, smaller – on the sleeves.
Please note! If you want sleeves with other color then the main color you choose – please write wished color by email :) Otherwise sleeves would be the same color as you choosed.
Gor example, if you choose brown color and write us nothing – sleeves also would be brown color.

Stock items may be returned within 14 days if unused. Return shipping is covered by the customer; refunds apply to item price only. Custom-made items are non-refundable unless there is a manufacturing defect or our mistake, in such cases we will remake or refund at our expense. Lost parcels are covered — we will investigate and resend if needed.
By default, all orders are shipped via Ukrainian National Post or Nova Poshta, at the sole discretion of Steel Mastery. The carrier delivers the parcel to your local postal service or pickup point. Tracking details are provided after dispatch. Express courier services (such as DHL, etc.) are available only upon request via email and are subject to additional cost and confirmation.
Custom-made items require production time before shipment. Estimated production time:
- Leather accessories – 2–4 weeks;
- Clothes – 2–8 weeks;
- Gambeson and padded armor – 8–12 weeks;
- Brigandines – 1–3 months;
- Metal armor – 2–7 months.
