This item is a custom-made, which means that our crafters use individual body measurements of a client for manufacture. Such type of manufacturing provides with a perfect fit of an item.

Classic medieval padded chausses are acceptable for any type of armour. They provide a good protection for warrior's legs, amortize hits well and do not limit mobility.
This model has leather sole, that makes chausses very comfortable. They are fastened with leather strings to the fabric belt or braies.
Chausses together with gambeson make a good set of padded body protection and belt for chausses.
We recommend you to order chausses with linen or cotton lining, as it will make them more comfortable and long-term in use.
There are chausses with lacing on the back side of leg and without lacing. While ordering, please inform us to [email protected], what model do you prefer.
Chausses are being made 100% natural linen, cotton or wool.
Belt is not included to the price.
Stock items may be returned within 14 days if unused. Return shipping is covered by the customer; refunds apply to item price only. Custom-made items are non-refundable unless there is a manufacturing defect or our mistake, in such cases we will remake or refund at our expense. Lost parcels are covered — we will investigate and resend if needed.
By default, all orders are shipped via Ukrainian National Post or Nova Poshta, at the sole discretion of Steel Mastery. The carrier delivers the parcel to your local postal service or pickup point. Tracking details are provided after dispatch. Express courier services (such as DHL, etc.) are available only upon request via email and are subject to additional cost and confirmation.
Custom-made items require production time before shipment. Estimated production time:
- Leather accessories – 2–4 weeks;
- Clothes – 2–8 weeks;
- Gambeson and padded armor – 8–12 weeks;
- Brigandines – 1–3 months;
- Metal armor – 2–7 months.
