description

Meet the new impossibly chic gambeson model. Based on the most popular and comfortable model of ARMING DOUBLET / AKETON - 1360 YEAR we created this new gambeson with a high stand-up collar, that fastens with buttons, as well as the gambeson itself.

Note, that buttoned or laced-up collars were characteristic of civilian and military clothing from the XIV and XV centuries. In addition, such a buttoned collar protects the neck better during fencing than a regular collar.

We also added more frequent stitching on the gambeson cuffs, which makes the cuffs now better fit the arm below the elbow. So putting the cuffs on over them will be more comfortable. And it also allowed us to visually approximate their look to the historical source - pourpoint of Charles de Blois.

But most importantly - just look how chic this gambeson looks! And all thanks to a new option - contrasting sleeves and collar. Take a closer look. Even the buttons are different there. It was a chic fashion trend in the XIV and XV centuries that we're reviving for you today. And if you wish, we can make the sleeves and collar coverings from a completely different fabric altogether. With the lining, sorry, this trick will not work. The lining will remain soft and natural. We can't afford to sell you a gambeson with a synthetic lining.

In general, there is nothing to think about! Write to us and order this chic gambeson as soon as possible.

Perfect high quality! Fits my body perfectly. The material is thick and the stitching is also very careful. The result is a durable, sturdy...and more importantly...stylish gambeson!
