Cuirass of the mid-XV century is a classical model of medieval Milan-style plate body armor. It has typical roundish shape. Plackart (bottom part of cuirass) is riveted to the breastplate and overlaps it.
Reliable metal armor with skirt (faulds) consists of two parts: front and back one. Parts are connected together with firm leather belts for fastening, which are installed on the shoulders and sides.
It’s recommended to wear such plate armour over the thin padded doublet or gambeson – your protection will be not only more reliable, but also more comfortable.
Our artisans manufacture such medieval cuirass by personal parameters of customer.

Stock items may be returned within 14 days if unused. Return shipping is covered by the customer; refunds apply to item price only. Custom-made items are non-refundable unless there is a manufacturing defect or our mistake, in such cases we will remake or refund at our expense. Lost parcels are covered — we will investigate and resend if needed.
By default, all orders are shipped via Ukrainian National Post or Nova Poshta, at the sole discretion of Steel Mastery. The carrier delivers the parcel to your local postal service or pickup point. Tracking details are provided after dispatch. Express courier services (such as DHL, etc.) are available only upon request via email and are subject to additional cost and confirmation.
Custom-made items require production time before shipment. Estimated production time:
- Leather accessories – 2–4 weeks;
- Clothes – 2–8 weeks;
- Gambeson and padded armor – 8–12 weeks;
- Brigandines – 1–3 months;
- Metal armor – 2–7 months.
