If from the inside of the mitten there are 2 thick soft cotton (linen as an option) layers that allow you to hold any weapon comfortably and protect your hand from corns, then on the back of the hand the protection is more than solid and impressive.
Base price chain mail gloves’ outer side includes following options:
- cotton mitten with 2 layers of padding;
- hidden protection made of overlapped 1 mm thickness steel plates (and on the thumb as well) sewn to padded base;
- 1 layer of butted chain mail with 1.8x10 mm steel rings diameter.

Stock items may be returned within 14 days if unused. Return shipping is covered by the customer; refunds apply to item price only. Custom-made items are non-refundable unless there is a manufacturing defect or our mistake, in such cases we will remake or refund at our expense. Lost parcels are covered — we will investigate and resend if needed.
By default, all orders are shipped via Ukrainian National Post or Nova Poshta, at the sole discretion of Steel Mastery. The carrier delivers the parcel to your local postal service or pickup point. Tracking details are provided after dispatch. Express courier services (such as DHL, etc.) are available only upon request via email and are subject to additional cost and confirmation.
Custom-made items require production time before shipment. Estimated production time:
- Leather accessories – 2–4 weeks;
- Clothes – 2–8 weeks;
- Gambeson and padded armor – 8–12 weeks;
- Brigandines – 1–3 months;
- Metal armor – 2–7 months.
