Brigandine mitten for buckler was design by our crafters specially for SCA and HEMA fighters. This mitten is a perfect combination of steel and leather that makes hand armor comfortable and reliable in using.
Brigand mitten is for use with side-hold shield buckler. This mitten provides good mobility and safety of fingers and the inner part of hand.
Two solid metal plates cover the palm and fingers; leather wristband is reinforced with additional plates and protects wrist well. Such mitten goes perfectly together with brigandine arm protection of the XV century.

Stock items may be returned within 14 days if unused. Return shipping is covered by the customer; refunds apply to item price only. Custom-made items are non-refundable unless there is a manufacturing defect or our mistake, in such cases we will remake or refund at our expense. Lost parcels are covered — we will investigate and resend if needed.
By default, all orders are shipped via Ukrainian National Post or Nova Poshta, at the sole discretion of Steel Mastery. The carrier delivers the parcel to your local postal service or pickup point. Tracking details are provided after dispatch. Express courier services (such as DHL, etc.) are available only upon request via email and are subject to additional cost and confirmation.
Custom-made items require production time before shipment. Estimated production time:
- Leather accessories – 2–4 weeks;
- Clothes – 2–8 weeks;
- Gambeson and padded armor – 8–12 weeks;
- Brigandines – 1–3 months;
- Metal armor – 2–7 months.
