Splinted protection for upper arm (bicep) is a type of medieval limb protection, which was popular among European and Asian warriors in the XIV-XVI centuries. Such armor is quite easy-to-make and comfortable in use.
Plenty of medieval miniatures, effigies and manuscripts depict knight wearing this kind of combined limb protection.

Narrow metal plates (either, steel or titanium) are riveted with rivets to the firm leather base from the inner and outer sides of armour. There are also leather belts with steel buckles for good fixation on the arm. Holes on the top and bottom of bicep protection allow additional lacing of splinted armor to your padded gambeson. Splinted bracers of the same style will complete your knight arm defense.
