Legs' protection is the same important thing as protection of head and body. Mail stockings with chainmail or hauberk were the most popular armour among both infantry forces and horse cavalry. From the end of XIV century, mail armour had become to be displaced by plate armour. This model of classic mail stockings is being made of mild steel rings 2 x 10 mm. Type of butting is 4 rings in 1.
