Why would a fighter need a soft arming belt, you might ask. Well, really experienced fighters would not ask such a question, but we are always ready to advise our friends.

If you are young and inexperienced, such a belt may seem like an unnecessary detail. You will be fine with any arming belt to fasten your chausses and plate legs. But a warrior with many battles behind him, who knows that the waist must be taken care of, just can't get past this belt.

A thick quilted belt made of natural cotton or linen will perfectly encase your waist, supporting your back and reducing the strain on it.
