The Wollaston Helmet (also known as Pioneer Helmet) is a 7th century Anglo-Saxon helmet. It is named after the place Wollaston (Northamptonshire, England), where it was found in the 1997 year. This boar-crested helmet belongs to the group B1 in classification of Arwidsson. Helmet frame consists of the wide brow-band, nose-to-nape strip and lateral strip with one-piece-forged plates in the gaps.
