Descrizione
Brigandine was the most popular type of body protection before the full-plate armour appeared. This model of medieval brigandine was typical for the Spanish knights and European soldiers of the XIV-XV centuries.
This type of body plates’ armor is based on the brigandien pattern from the scientific publication "The riders of the war. European Cavalry" by Aleksinsky, Zhukov, Butyagin, Korovkin, 2005 year.
Custom medieval plates’ armor is made-to-measure item. That means that our artisans use individual body parameters and personal regards of client to handcraft such body protection.
You can use this brigand body armor for:
- SCA
- HEMA
- Larp
- Stage performances
- Medieval festivals
- Reenactment events
Cuts from the front and back provide with the freedom of movements. Leather belts with steel or cast bronze buckles are place from the front of this type of brigand jacket. Such position allows you easy wearoing of armor. Brigandine has cotton lining.
Base price includes following options:
- Black wool for outer shell;
- Plates of cold-rolled steel 1.0 mm;
- Steel finding rivets;
- Black leather straps;
- Steel nickel-plated buckles;
- Straight bottom edge;
- XS-size;
- No decoration;
- No brigand spaulders
