Descrizione

Additional back protection is a cool medieval-style safety airbag so to say for your spine. After all, you surely know that the spine is the most unprotected part of your body in full contact fights, don’t you? We really do care, so we’ve made for you a cool and functional gambeson upgrade.

We offer as a set of additional back protection:

A wide strip of dense soft leather with 15 rectangular 14 x 5 cm (5.5 x 2 inc) plates riveted onto it. Strip with plates, being sewn to the gambeson, will reliably cover your spine even from the most severe blow on the armor.
Protective rondel with 15 cm (6 inc) diameter additionally cover the bottom of the neck from impacts – being sewn to the gambeson or mail coifs or aventails cover the bottom of the neck from impacts.

This is a must-have accessory for full contact fights and modern fencing. So surely use it at SCA, battle sports events, and buhurts. Even at some medieval festivals, LARP events, and stage performances, if you are expecting some problems there.

Additional back protection includes the following options:

* Scales and rondel made of 1mm (18 ga) steel;

* Steel rivets for scales;

* Dense soft leather base for scales.

You can order other thickness and metal types in options: stainless steel, hardened steel, titanium... any you’d prefer.

Each of these products: spine protection and rondel - you can order separately for self-sewing or order all set immediately with new gambeson.
