This item is a custom-made, which means that our crafters use individual body measurements of a client for manufacture. Such type of manufacturing provides with a perfect fit of an item.

Scale armour is classic example of the Byzantine Empire heritage. We can see the similar armour on the images of cataphracts from the VII century.
Armour was widespread on the Kievan Rus from the XI century.
It provides with a good mobility and high level of protection during the battle.
Base price include only body part.
Base price inlcudes:
-cold-rolled steel 1mm
-standard edge with no festoons
-black wool shell
-no contrast edge
In options you can add next part:
Skirt consists of two parts and is being attached to the waistband separately. Scale pauldrons can be sewn or laced to the body part.
Brigandine bracers, helmet of Nikolskoe, round shield and gambeson together with scale armor will make a perfect kit of medieval protection.
Stock items may be returned within 14 days if unused. Return shipping is covered by the customer; refunds apply to item price only. Custom-made items are non-refundable unless there is a manufacturing defect or our mistake, in such cases we will remake or refund at our expense. Lost parcels are covered — we will investigate and resend if needed.
By default, all orders are shipped via Ukrainian National Post or Nova Poshta, at the sole discretion of Steel Mastery. The carrier delivers the parcel to your local postal service or pickup point. Tracking details are provided after dispatch. Express courier services (such as DHL, etc.) are available only upon request via email and are subject to additional cost and confirmation.
Custom-made items require production time before shipment. Estimated production time:
- Leather accessories – 2–4 weeks;
- Clothes – 2–8 weeks;
- Gambeson and padded armor – 8–12 weeks;
- Brigandines – 1–3 months;
- Metal armor – 2–7 months.
