This item is a custom-made, which means that our crafters use individual body measurements of a client for manufacture. Such type of manufacturing provides with a perfect fit of an item.

This medieval padded aventail is worn under the Bascinet or Barbute type helmet. Its cut provides perfect additional protection for the shoulders and neck. High front padded part covers your chin.
Aventail has lacing on the back side of the neck - 10 cm long with 4 whipstitched holes - to adjust and fix this aventail on your neck. This model is cut to fit the inclined shoulders lines and lay on breast, as well as chin covering part.
It is being made of 100% natural fabrics. Different colours are available for order.
Stock items may be returned within 14 days if unused. Return shipping is covered by the customer; refunds apply to item price only. Custom-made items are non-refundable unless there is a manufacturing defect or our mistake, in such cases we will remake or refund at our expense. Lost parcels are covered — we will investigate and resend if needed.
By default, all orders are shipped via Ukrainian National Post or Nova Poshta, at the sole discretion of Steel Mastery. The carrier delivers the parcel to your local postal service or pickup point. Tracking details are provided after dispatch. Express courier services (such as DHL, etc.) are available only upon request via email and are subject to additional cost and confirmation.
Custom-made items require production time before shipment. Estimated production time:
- Leather accessories – 2–4 weeks;
- Clothes – 2–8 weeks;
- Gambeson and padded armor – 8–12 weeks;
- Brigandines – 1–3 months;
- Metal armor – 2–7 months.
