Custom gambeson in style of Averland

In the grim and perilous world of WFB, where chaos and war are constant companions, great armor is always a need. 

Up to challenge our tailors set a work on the creation of the legendary Averland gambeson. 

We chose the darkest black fabric as the base, symbolizing the harsh realities of war that faced daily. To complement the darkness we incorporated vivid yellow stitching and details into the gambeson, mirroring the rays of the Averland sun.

The pièce de résistance of the gambeson was the Averland sun emblems meticulously painted onto the bottom part. Each emblem was a work of art, capturing the essence of Averland's courage and unwavering resolve. The yellow suns seemed to blaze brightly against the black canvas, creating a striking contrast that mirrored the tumultuous nature of the WFB world.

Base price includes: 

• cotton fabric 
• cotton lining fabric 
• 2 layers of padding 
• black color with yellow elements on the sleeves 
• sleeves are made to the HEMA rules (we can make them with open cutting) 

The process of applying suns is as follows:
1) Clean and iron the fabric
2) Mark the location of the print
3) Make a print with white paint using a stamp, wait 12-24 hours until it dries
4) Apply a layer of white paint with a brush, wait 12-24 hours until it dries
5) Apply another layer of white paint with a brush (now the image is already of a uniform color, not marble and does not allow black fabric to pass through)
6) Wait 48 hours for the paint to dry
7) Apply a layer of yellow paint with a brush
8) Draw eyes, stripes, correct defects, wait 24 hours for the paint to dry
9) Fix the paint with an iron

In general, the work takes about 24 hours for 8 suns + time for the paint to dry. It turns out that we need a week of time for artistic work before sending the parts for sewing.
