This padded HEMA gambeson inspired by classic fencing camisole silhouette has high stand-up turn-down collar and traditional chest overlapping.
Well, it really looks similar to the XVIIIth fencing jacket. It’s so much alike that when looking at it you just feel that you need a sword, a hat with a feather, and high boots. Then jump on a horse, exclaim "Que diable!" and take part in a race for the queen's diamond pendants. Don't you?
Notice the original obliquely overlap type – almost full on the chest and one-half on the stomach. Not only this way of additional defence gives a chest shield but also looks really cool and stylish.
Hema jacket has diagonal quilting on the body, vertical quilting on sleeves, collar and hem.
If you order contrast edge for this model – front edge would be without contrast color. But we can make buttons with contrast color, which will complete the final look of gambeson :)
