This medieval costume is typical for crossbowman if the XII-XIII century. It includes to following items:
Chausses with footstrap are being fastened with leather strings to the braies or to the wide fabric belt.
Long cotta is decorated with thread on the round neckline and sleeves.
Gambeson with long sleeves and cuts on the bottom hem has fastening on the neckline and provides with a good mobility and protection.
Cale is a type of cotton or linne cap with long lacing. Usually, it had been worn under the main headwear (chaperon, bonnet), but sometimes it was used as liner for helmet.
Base material is 100% natural cotton.
