Brigandine leg protection ¾ is a type of medieval limb defense, which was popular among European knights in the XIV-XV centuries. Such good combination of steel and leather makes leg armor reliable and well-protecting during the combat and very comfortable in wearing.
This medieval brigand protection consists of three parts:
Metal plates are overlapped and riveted to the firm leather base. Kneecaps are laced with leather strings to tasses. Wide winged fan protects outer side of knee. Armour is held on your leg with belts and buckles. If you wish to complete your leg defense, we recommend to wear also plate greaves of the XIV-XVI centuries.
