Thigh protection

Brigandine thigh protection was widespread among the warriors in the XIV-XV centuries. Easy making and reliability during the fight was making such combined protection very popular among knights from all military branches.

Thigh protection has outer lay (wool, silk, suede, leather or velvet by your choice); main layer made of thick canvas. Metal plates are riveted from the inside and covered with linen or cotton lining for durability and better comfort.

There are leather pieces with the holes installed on the top and bottom edge of tasses. Using these holes, you may easily fasten your medieval leg armor to chausses belt and attach steel kneecaps. We also added two firm leather belts with buckle so you could reliably fix armor on your thigh.
