Here is one of the authentic samples of brigandine that was recreated, basing on the materials of excavation of the Battle of Visby (Gotland, Sweden). This notable battle between forces of King Valdemar IV of Denmark and the Gutnish country yeomen on the 27 July 1361 year.

So-called Visby brigandine is one of the most popular models between reenactors. Brigandine pattern is designed by its historical analogue.

Leather belts for fastening are placed on the back of brigand armor. Front of the body is reliably protected with metal plates, riveted to the base of brigantine armour.

Base price includes following options:

  3. Steel finding rivets;
  4. Black leather straps;
  5. Steel nickel-plated buckles;
  6. Straight bottom edge;

We offer wool, suede, velvet or leather for cover layer of your medieval body armor. Plate for brigandine can be made of cold-rolled steel, stainless steel or titanium of different thickness.

Various fastenings and types of decoration are available for order in options. We can make an embroidery of your heraldic emblem on the brigandine, or decorate the bottom edge with fancy festoons. Brigandine or whole-hammered spaulders provide with protection of your shoulders.

Stock items may be returned within 14 days if unused. Return shipping is covered by the customer; refunds apply to item price only. Custom-made items are non-refundable unless there is a manufacturing defect or our mistake, in such cases we will remake or refund at our expense. Lost parcels are covered — we will investigate and resend if needed.

Delivery

By default, all orders are shipped via Ukrainian National Post or Nova Poshta, at the sole discretion of Steel Mastery. The carrier delivers the parcel to your local postal service or pickup point. Tracking details are provided after dispatch. Express courier services (such as DHL, etc.) are available only upon request via email and are subject to additional cost and confirmation.
