English full armor kit of 1483

Steel English full medieval armor made in Gothic style and dated to 1483 year. Gothic armor set has appeared in the second half of the XV century on the territory of Germany. The local armorers have improved and modified the already existing Milanese technique of making an armor. Emphasis was placed on greater mobility, than the Italian full body armor. Parts of the armour began to be smaller and sharper. Surface was covered with ribs. Such ribs made armor stronger and were protecting from chopping strikes.

This made-to-measure battle armor is completely handcrafted by our artisans.

Medieval set of armor includes the next parts:

1. Cuirass
2. Pauldrons
3. Plate arm guard
4. Pointed elbow caps
5. Three-quarter plate legs
6. Plate gauntlets

Cuirass consists of two-sided breastplate and plackart with segmented skirt and tassets. Tassets are attached to the skirt with leather belts. In its turn, plackart (or placcard) is fastened to the breastplate with belts as well. This battle armor is available for order without helmet. You may choose required helmet at our medieval armory.
