Well-known "Avant Armour" is dating from about 1450-1485 years. It was crafted in Corio workshop, Milano, and was belong to Fon Matsch, the owner of Churburg Castle in the 1450 year.
This Milanese armor is one of the most famous type of medieval full-plate body protection.
Roundish plate cuirass includes several parts:
- Breast plate and back plate. Joined together with leather belts and buckles;
- Plackart, which is fastened to the front and back plates;
- Segmented skirt (faulds), made of horizontal straps, which are connected with rivets and hinges;
- Tassets – plates, which protects hips. Fastened to the lower part of skirt
Characteristics:
- Metal: steel 2 mm;
- Size – S-M, details: Total length from shoulder to end of tassets - 84 cm (33 in), Length without tassets - 60 cm (23.6 in), chest measures 115 cm (45.3 in), waist measures 95 cm (37.4 in), tasset length 25 cm (9.8 in), bottom length 68 cm (26.8 in)

Custom-made items are non-refundable unless there is a manufacturing defect or our mistake, in such cases we will remake or refund at our expense. Lost parcels are covered — we will investigate and resend if needed.
By default, all orders are shipped via Ukrainian National Post or Nova Poshta, at the sole discretion of Steel Mastery. The carrier delivers the parcel to your local postal service or pickup point. Tracking details are provided after dispatch. Express courier services (such as DHL, etc.) are available only upon request via email and are subject to additional cost and confirmation.
Custom-made items require production time before shipment. Estimated production time:
- Leather accessories – 2–4 weeks;
- Clothes – 2–8 weeks;
- Gambeson and padded armor – 8–12 weeks;
- Brigandines – 1–3 months;
- Metal armor – 2–7 months.
