And all thanks to replacing the steel plates with the exact same ones, only made of Eva Foam. 

This ultra-modern material is a favorite of cosplayers and athletes, and now is available as part of the historical armor LARP replica. This foam material is 3 mm thick and has good elasticity, holds its shape amazingly and is as light as down.

This is the perfect brigantine for LARP and stage events. You'll look like you're wearing a steel one, but without the major disadvantage of steel brigantine - weight.
