Plate shoulders of the XIV-XV centuries are necessary part of medieval arm protection. It could be used with brigandine or plate bracers and with bicep protection.
This model of spaulders has quite simple design. However, they protect shoulder bone at the highest level. Steel rondels cover armpits.
Medieval spaulders are fastened with leather laces to gambeson and additionally are kept with belt on your arm.

Medieval plate shoulders are the part of brigandine kit of XV century. It is completely handcrafted and made-to-measure.

Stock items may be returned within 14 days if unused. Return shipping is covered by the customer; refunds apply to item price only. Custom-made items are non-refundable unless there is a manufacturing defect or our mistake, in such cases we will remake or refund at our expense. Lost parcels are covered — we will investigate and resend if needed.
By default, all orders are shipped via Ukrainian National Post or Nova Poshta, at the sole discretion of Steel Mastery. The carrier delivers the parcel to your local postal service or pickup point. Tracking details are provided after dispatch. Express courier services (such as DHL, etc.) are available only upon request via email and are subject to additional cost and confirmation.
Custom-made items require production time before shipment. Estimated production time:
- Leather accessories – 2–4 weeks;
- Clothes – 2–8 weeks;
- Gambeson and padded armor – 8–12 weeks;
- Brigandines – 1–3 months;
- Metal armor – 2–7 months.
