Bascinet is a part of KNIGHT PLATE ARMOR OF XIV CENTURY, which is overall image of Western European armor in last third of XIV century. This is the functional armor of the foot-knight, not artsy-craftsy but exceptionally reliable.
Nevertheless, be sure – it is good enough to be an independent helmet. Based at bascinet found at Fortress Aldobrandesca (Piancastagnaio, Siena) and dating 1350-1380 it suits to most medieval knight armors of that period.
Bascinet helmet is a must-have for fighters, who take part not only in SCA, HEMA, reenactment events and medieval festivals, but also for LARP events or stage performances.

Base price bascinet includes:
- 1,5 mm cold-rolled stainless steel;
- Welded helmet dome;
- Brown leather straps;
- Steel rivets and buckles;
- Satin final treatment.
Main pictures shows a blackened helmet. Pay attention that the laconic welded dome of the bascinet complemented by a light but thick leather aventail. It not only perfectly protects but also looks cool combined with blackening, giving the helmet a particularly medieval look.
As an additional option, you can order visor and different aventail. However, if you want something special for your head protection - really exclusive helmet, we always ready to make all our medieval armor custom versions.

If the received item has defects or does not fit your parameters, we will make a new item and send it to you at our costs. If postal service lost your parcel, we make a search of it. If parcel could not be found, we make new item at our expenses.

Every product is handcrafted and requires time for manufacture. Approximate time:
