This Medieval Gugel with Liripipe is inspired by historical headwear worn across Central and Western Europe from the 13th to the 15th century. Commonly seen among townspeople, travelers, and members of various social classes, the gugel served both practical and decorative purposes.
The design features a fitted hood, an attached shoulder cape for added protection, and an extended liripipe — the characteristic tail that became a defining element of late medieval fashion.

This gugel completes a medieval ensemble with authenticity and historical character, adding depth and period accuracy to any costume.
Stock items may be returned within 14 days if unused. Return shipping is covered by the customer; refunds apply to item price only. Custom-made items are non-refundable unless there is a manufacturing defect or our mistake, in such cases we will remake or refund at our expense. Lost parcels are covered — we will investigate and resend if needed.
By default, all orders are shipped via Ukrainian National Post or Nova Poshta, at the sole discretion of Steel Mastery. The carrier delivers the parcel to your local postal service or pickup point. Tracking details are provided after dispatch. Express courier services (such as DHL, etc.) are available only upon request via email and are subject to additional cost and confirmation.
Custom-made items require production time before shipment. Estimated production time:
- Leather accessories – 2–4 weeks;
- Clothes – 2–8 weeks;
- Gambeson and padded armor – 8–12 weeks;
- Brigandines – 1–3 months;
- Metal armor – 2–7 months.
