VISBY BRIDANDINE, TYPE III 

Custom medieval plates’ armor is made-to-measure item. That means that our artisans use individual body parameters and personal regards of client to handcraft such body protection. 

Here are the most popular medieval armor of reenactors and fighters - brigandine of Visby. Battle at Gotland coast on 22th of July 1361 "one of the most fearsome revelations of a medieval battle known to archaeologists" leave to us a large quantity of armor finds in the mass graves. 

Why brigandine armors were so popular in XIV century and nowadays? They offer similar protection as the steel cuirasses, but provide much more freedom of movements.

Reliable and easy construction of armor - numerous steel plates, riveted to leather or textile base, and seems like it likes being top dog again. ;)

This a good, completely handcrafted knight armor will take a worthy place at your armor wardrobe and always be a good choice for SCA, HEMA, LARP and reenactment events, as well as medieval festivals and stage performances.

 Base price brigandine armor includes following options:

  • Wool as outer fabric;
  • Plates of cold-rolled steel 1.0 mm; 
  • Steel finding rivets; 
  • Black leather straps; 
  • Steel nickel-plated buckles; 
  • Straight bottom edge; 
  • XS-size; 
  • No decoration

Delivery

Par défaut, toutes les commandes sont expédiées, à la seule discrétion de Steel Mastery, via le service postal national ukrainien ou Nova Poshta. Le transporteur livre le colis à votre bureau de poste local ou point de retrait. Les informations de suivi sont fournies après l’expédition. Les services de messagerie express (tels que DHL, etc.) sont disponibles uniquement sur demande par e-mail et sont soumis à des coûts supplémentaires ainsi qu’à une confirmation individuelle.

So I made a custom order (the one in yellow with the big symbol in black, yellow and red, the one in the picture) and I must say it looks and feels awesome. The details, quality, craftsmanship, service and response time and so forth is superb. They kept in contact during the process and asked for more details about the color and in what way the symbol should be made. Sent them a vector file and reference picture and some color references. The job they did was spot on! Mine is a custom size and it fits as expected and with a mail hauberk underneath it will fit just perfect! Awesome product and really nice colors. I cannot be more happy
