ARMING BELT FOR CHAUSSES WI...
ARMING BELT FOR CHAUSSES WITH LEATHER PARTS This medieval chausses belt combines all the advantages of a classical arming belt for chausses, but at the same time has additional advantages: It fastens by leather straps with buckles, which allows you to adjust the overall length of the arming girdle belt. Arming chausses are attached not to the hosen belt itself, but to the additional leather pieces with punched holes, which provides a more convenient and reliable fastening for the arming chausses, brigandine or plate leg protection. A sensible choice for a fighter who wants to be absolutely sure how his foot protection fastened at SCA, HEMA, LARP end reenactment events...

Winged Tarsoly from Shestov...
Cast set was found in Shestovitsa mounds near the town of Chernigov, Ukraine, burial #110. The real shape of this pouch is unclear, so there are only theoretical reconstructions. Tarsoly (pronounced "tArshoy") is a type of belt pouch (10-11 century) of hungarian origin with long tradition. It was a kind of fashion of the time throughout Hungary and the lands to the East and North. It was usually decorated with brass mounts or with a single decorated metal plate. The richness of decoration of the tarsoly and of the belt on which it was worn demonstrated high rank, bravery and wealth of the owner. Size 17x16 cmю

Review about items
A bit long if you have a medium-frame like I do, however it certainly is resilient. I would advise nonetheless to use some braces to relieve back pains if you intend to use the belt to support plate legs.
Very nice buckle. While not a smaller (set) version of the Western European medieval buckle, XIV-XV centuries (https://steel-mastery.com/western-european-medieval-buckle-xiv-xv-centuries.html) they compliment each other well when used in conjunction. Solid buckle, well recommended.
Beautiful and very solid buckle. The images don't do it justice at all. Well worth every penny spent! Well complimented with these XIV Century buckles (https://steel-mastery.com/medieval-custom-brass-buckle-xiv-century.html) if making a larger piece.
Item was as displayed. The finish was as you would expect of a buckle for this period for that extra touch of verisimilitude.
