Similar buckles were completing garments of wealthy men in England of the Middle Ages, so we can see such attire in the European museums. Buckles are pictured on the paintings of the famous artists, found during the excavations or in private collections.
It is not surprising, as this buckle looks amazing and complete any men's or women's outfit.
