Medieval English brass buckle is made according to its analogue of the XIV-XV centuries.
Those times, accessories were attiring as military clothing, so civil garments. Historical findings, images on the medieval paintings, engravings and miniatures prove that.
Often, buckle was playing not the less role, than condition of fabric, for example. Outfit could look shabby, but buckle and buttons did have to be in perfect condition.
Material: bronze.
Buckle size: 25 x 30 mm.
Strap width: 15-18 mm.
